Once you tap "How are you Feeling Today", or the "Noticed a change in your mood" button the Mood Check-in screen appears.
You'll see five emojis representing different mood levels: Awful, Poor, Okay, Good, Very Good.
Tap the emoji that best reflects how you are feeling at this moment. The selected mood will be highlighted.
Anyone can get into a bad mood which can be brought on by anything; a rough day at work, fighting traffic, etc.
When you have Parkinson's, symptoms can definitely affect your mood.
Understanding which symptoms might be influencing your mood can be helpful. You can link symptoms directly to your mood entry on this screen.
Scroll down to the section titled **"Symptoms Affecting Mood"**.
You'll see a list of common symptoms (like "Tremors").
To add a symptom: Tap the toggle switch next to the symptom's name so it turns green (or your app's highlight color).
Set the severity: Once toggled on, tap one of the five severity emojis below "How severe is it?" (ranging from **Very Mild** to **Very Severe**) for that specific symptom.
Repeat steps 3 and 4 for any other symptoms you want to link to this mood entry.
Adding a symptom not listed: If you're experiencing a symptom that isn't on the list, select Other and type in the name of the symptom. Then set its severity.
When you're finished, tap Save.
Sometimes, adding a quick note can provide valuable context about your mood entry.
On the Mood Check-in screen, scroll down past the symptoms section.
Look for a text field labeled Notes or similar.
Tap into the text field and type any additional details you want to remember about this mood entry (e.g., "Feeling good after a walk," "Headache started after lunch," "Stressful meeting at work").
Once you've selected your mood, added any relevant symptoms, and included optional notes, you need to save the entry.
Locate the Save button, usually found in the top-right corner of the Mood Check-in screen.
Tap Save.
Your mood entry is now recorded and will appear on the Main Screen calendar and in your history/reports. If you change your mind before saving, you can tap Cancel (usually top-left) to discard the entry.
